This CS4HS workshop occurred at the United Federation of Teachers’ Headquarters in New York City on May 13, 2014. 

The workshop introduced New York art teachers to our Diversifying STEM with Art curriculum for possible adoption in their K-12 art classrooms. We also demonstrated how to use CSDT software to simulate indigenous cultural art forms. Math concepts discussed included transformational geometry (translation, dilation, rotation and reflection) and the Cartesian coordinate system.
